The present investigation consisted of determining the relationship that exists between gastronomic tourism and the quality of service for the diners of the “El Tío Jhony” restaurant in the district of Sullana in the year 2023. Considering that it was necessary to determine the relationship, of those tourists who arrived in the district of Sullana and requested the catering services of the restaurant in question, based on this, the study population included tourists - diners who came to the restaurant, obtaining a sample of 100 diners. To obtain data, field work was carried out, the in-situ validated instrument was applied; Therefore, the survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire as an instrument. Basic theoretical research, adopting a non-experimental approach. It was characterized by being descriptive-correlational cross-sectional. The results obtained showed that the gastronomic tourism variable is at a high level with 54% and the service quality variable is at a very high level with 60%.
