The purpose of the research was to analyze the relationship between body mass index and physical activity patterns in primary school students of the Experimental Educational Institution UNAP, San Juan 2022. The study used a non-experimental and correlational design, which implies that They observed the variables in their natural state without intervening in them, and the relationship between them was examined to identify patterns or trends. The population under study was made up of 164 students, of which a sample of 115 students was selected for analysis. To collect the data, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used, the validity of which was evaluated and confirmed by experts in the field, reaching a validity level of 83% through expert judgment. The results of the data analysis revealed a significant correlation between the body mass index and the level of physical activity in primary students of the Experimental Educational Institution UNAP, San Juan 2022, with a correlation coefficient of r= 0.307, and with a p=0.002(p>.05)
