| Sumario: | The present research had the general objective of proposing an environmental management program to strengthen the environmental culture of the María Inmaculada Educational Institution of the Requena District, 2020; opting for a descriptive research and non-experimental design, for which a sample of 257 students and 17 teachers has been taken, who were surveyed through a questionnaire that analyzes their perception regarding the variables evaluated; managing to conclude that environmental management is deficient, since respondents have perceived that environmental policies that involve all the institution's staff are almost never evidenced, likewise, inventories and the respective environmental diagnosis are rarely carried out, and finally, the objectives , goals and environmental indicators are almost never defined by the institution. Likewise, the level of environmental culture in the María Inmaculada Educational Institution was determined, it is low; As it is evident that the respondents have little knowledge of the environmental problems of their environment, which is affected by the knowledge of environmental policies or programs for the care of the environment developed in the institution, in addition, mutual collaboration is almost never encouraged in the workshops of environmental care; and finally, an environmental management program was proposed to strengthen the Institution's environmental culture. |
