The present study aimed to determine the level of implementation of the computerized accounting system in Comercial Importadora Ferretera del Amazonas SAC of the city of Iquitos, 2021, being a descriptive research with a non-experimental design, which was made up of 23 workers, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire for the collection of information was used, concluding that the information technology in accounting management is very deficient, this because the program does not present the capacity to record and control large amount of information, making it difficult to detect possible errors. At the same time, the functionality of the accounting system is regular, since, occasionally, the system makes it difficult to record accounting entries that are used on a day-to-day basis, at the same time executing the process for updating and processing information is difficult, which makes it even more difficult to extract official reports. Regarding the characteristics of the accounting program, it is classified as regular. Finally, the execution of the accounting program is regular, since deficiencies have been identified in the start-up and loading of accounting software, security code, data entry and financial statement reporting. In general, the level of implementation of the computerized accounting system was determined.
