Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this research was to determine the state of the drinking water system of 3 communities, Manatí river basin, Indiana district, Maynas province, the communities have 26 families (San Pedro), Jorge Chávez (20 families) and Nuevo Paradise (25 families), of which all families have access to the service. The data collection was carried out between the months of August to October 2019, through field visits to the study communities. The procedure was based on the use of the Community Organization Management Evaluation Sheet (Adapted from Quiroz 2013) for the diagnosis; Data collection was carried out through user surveys to measure community and leadership management, as well as the operation and maintenance of the water system, as well as a tour of the entire system infrastructure to determine the status of each component. From which the following scores were obtained for each variable; the state of the system 3.1 for the three communities; for community and leadership management San Pedro 1.95; Jorge Chávez 2.50 and Nuevo Paraíso 1.59), for Operation and Maintenance (San Pedro: 2.88. Jorge Chávez 3.44 and Nuevo Paraíso 3.44). From the values obtained, the status of the village water system was determined by finding the Sustainability Index for San Pedro (2.76), Jorge Chávez (3.04) and Nuevo Paraíso (2.80), so we came to the conclusion that the status of the system it is regularly in the process of deterioration, following the PROPILAS Methodology (2002).
