Descripción
Sumario:The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between compliance with the growth and development control calendar with nutritional status in children under 12 months of age from the IPRESS San Antonio de Iquitos, 2021. The quantitative, retrospective correlational descriptive approach was used. The population and sample consisted of 99 children under 12 months, the sampling was simple probabilistic. The unit of analysis was the clinical records and the technique used was the documentary review, obtaining the following results: Of a total of 99 children (100%) in the sample, 81.8% complied with the control, while 18.2% did not comply; Regarding nutritional status, 71.1% (71 children) classified a normal nutritional status, while 1% (1 child) were overweight, and 19.2% (27 children) classified as underweight. To check whether the observed differences are characteristics of the study population, the Chi square statistical test was applied, obtaining p < 0.001 significant at α < 0.05, which allows us to accept the research hypothesis that says: Compliance with growth control and Development is related to the nutritional status of the child under 12 months of the San Antonio de Iquitos 2021 Health Services Providing Institution.
