Sumario:The present research addresses the development of pre-professional practices and its relationship with complementary training in accounting students at the National University of the Peruvian Amazon during 2024, arising from the need to understand how these training experiences influence the professional preparation of future accountants. since an adequate integration of both aspects can significantly improve your performance and opportunities in the labor market. To this end, a quantitative study was carried out by applying a 24 item survey to a representative sample of 90 students of the last level of accounting, with a statistical reliability index of 0.887. The results indicate that 56% of respondents consider pre-professional internships and IT training crucial for their professional development, while 90% stated that mastery of foreign languages and soft skills also contribute positively to their training. Furthermore, 48% of those who have completed studies in areas of specialization, such as taxation and costs, feel that these have improved their professional profile, and 83% agreed that complementary training provides them with a competitive advantage. These findings present a positive and significant relationship (r = 0.561) between pre-professional practices and complementary training, proposing recommendations to strengthen these practices and concluding that both are essential for the comprehensive development of accounting students.
