Sumario:This trial was carried out in Punchana, at the Nuestra Señora de la Salud and Teniente Manuel Clavero schools, with the purpose of determining the degree of knowledge of noise pollution produced by the vehicle fleet, the methodology was evaluative and the descriptive design, the population was 30 students from each school in section “A” of the 4th year of secondary school, so the sample was made up of 60 students, according to the results, regarding the level of knowledge, (36.7%) define noise as something unwanted, on the same premise at the Teniente Manuel Clavero school (46%) responded in the same way, they also stated that the instrument that measures the noise level is the Sound Level Meter (53.3% responded Health and 36.7% the Clavero school), the means of transportation The one that causes the most noise are motorcycles, the high decibels that some noises present affect the students' learning, as stated by (13 Health students representing 43.3%), for the Clavero school (11 gave their opinion on the same, representing 36.6%). They also state that this causes headaches and stress, affecting teaching, concentration and hearing in classes (33%), there is little knowledge among students about the laws and ordinances on noise pollution.
