Sumario:The general objective of the work was to obtain biodegradable plastic from banana peel (Musa paradisiaca), the work was quantitative in approach, depending on the level of research it is technological application, the study population is made up of the different varieties of banana that can be purchased in the markets of the city of Iquitos (Belén, Central and Modelo), the data collection procedure was carried out in the same supply centers, to later be taken to the laboratory of the alcohol pilot plant, and then proceed with the experimental part. The statistical processing of the information was done using the MINITAB 19 statistical program. The results obtained indicate that the average percentage of starch obtained from banana peel was 8.55%, the optimal concentration of chemical agents used to obtain bioplastics were: in the MP:AAC ratio, it was 1 to 4, the best ratio MP:GL, was from 1 to 14.
