Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this investigation is to improve the administrative management of Veterinary Animal Care, based on the use of a web system, where the processes of care registration, obtaining information from the medical records of pets and the level of satisfaction of users who used the web system were basically evaluated. In principle, we were able to detect that the first processes were slow and caused discomfort among the administrative staff in front of the clients; therefore, we suggest using a web system to solve these problems. We pose the following research question: With the use of a web system, is the administrative management of the Animal Care veterinary clinic improved? To evaluate, a quasi-experimental type design was chosen with a post test and a control group, with a non-probabilistic sample, made up of thirty (30) customer service processes. Obtaining the following results: first, with the use of the web system, it was possible to significantly reduce the time to register a new service, concluding that 100% of the cases have been fast; second, with the use of the system it was possible to reduce the time to obtain information from the medical records of the pets, and it was concluded that 53.3% of the processes have been fast. Third, the research shows that the level of satisfaction of users who now use the web system has risen, given that 73.3% of users were very satisfied with the new system.
