Sumario:The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the perception of humanization of care and the satisfaction of parents of hospitalized children at Hospital III EsSalud, Iquitos 2023. The approach was quantitative, descriptive, prospective. The population included parents of children under 15 years of age who were hospitalized in the pediatric service during the year 2023. The sample consisted of 209 parents of hospitalized children, for one quarter. The results found were: Of the total sample, 209 (100%), 114 (54.5%) responded that they perceived that the care provided by health personnel to their hospitalized children is humanized. However, a significant percentage 45% reported not perceiving humanized care. 67.9% of parents reported being satisfied, while 29.7% of parents reported being moderately satisfied and 2.4% reported being dissatisfied. By applying the statistical test of X2 with continuity correction = 10.6 for gl 2 p < 0.005 for α < 0.05, the research hypothesis is accepted, which says: There is a statistically significant relationship between the perception of humanized care and the satisfaction of the care of parents of hospitalized children.
