The present investigation was carried out in the company Granja Don Jorge to determine the importance that has been given to safety and health at work and thus be able to implement or improve its safety and health system at work. The research is of a descriptive nature with a non-experimental design in which the phenomena were observed as they occur in their natural environment, being analyzed later. The sample consisted of all the personnel who work in the company, which are 20 workers. For the evaluation of our baseline, we used the Checklist of Guidelines of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System of the R.M. N° 050-2013- TR,(4) under our format SST-FOR-012. Baseline study. In the same way, work was carried out with the protocol compliance questionnaire for the supervision of Occupational Health and Safety in the SUNAFIL industrial sector. The information gathering technique was observation, interview and documentary inspection. It is concluded that the farm company Fundo Don Jorge has not implemented or is aware of the importance of safety and health at work. With the IPER matrix, it has been shown that they are not identified and that the employees are unaware of the dangers and consequences to which they are exposed when carrying out their daily tasks, for which the implementation of a Health and Safety Management System is recommended, complying with the requirements of the law and the system is effective in reducing occupational hazards, generating a decent safe environment for its employees.
