Descripción
Sumario:Loreto's export sector has shown some dynamism in recent years, making direct and indirect employment favored by having a greater demand for labor. With this purpose, the present investigation of Quantitative type, Correlational level and Non-Experimental design was carried out. The research concludes that there is a direct relationship between exports of goods and employment in Loreto during the period 2015 - 2019, demonstrated with the value of the Correlation Coefficient r = 0.753633591; a figure that is higher than 0.75, indicating a good association between variables. However, the Determination Coefficient was R2 = 0.567963590; This shows that exports of goods have not been decisive in the behavior of employment, mainly due to the abundance of informal employment. Employment is measured through the Employed Economically Active Population (Employed PEA), which is mainly constituted by the type of informal employment, corresponding to 81.38% of workers. Exports were concentrated in: Fuels –includes crude oil- (68.13%), Wood (14.32%) and Ornamental Fish (5.14%). Similarly, exports are concentrated in a few companies, the main ones being: Pacific Stratus Energy del Perú S.A. (40.45%), Petroperú S.A. (12.39%) and Perupetro S.A. (7.88%), all from the hydrocarbon sector.
