Sumario:Education in families represents a key factor for their development and professional and economic expectations, the study analyzes how educational costs behave and how family finances are presented in families in the district of Punchana, with the purpose of knowing and analyzing this aspect of the social economy in order to allow researchers and interested parties a better understanding of the study carried out, for which an investigation was proposed with a quantitative approach, of a cross-sectional descriptive type and of correlational design, covering 80 families as a study population. representative of the area, the data collection was possible with the application of a questionnaire of 5 identifying questions and 24 questions related to the variable which, subjected to Cronbach's alpha reliability, presents a result of 0.793. The investigation shows that the educational costs present growing growth in 57% of families, that finances people have poor behavior in 45% of families, that educational costs and personal finances have a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient equal to 0.159, which statistically shows us that there is no direct relationship between the study variables, that 67% of families estimate that their educational cost represents between 5% to 20% of the family budget, that 88% of families estimate that their monthly income and expenses range from S/ 0 to S/ 4,000, with positive aspects for saving.
