The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between institutional management and sustainable tourism in the regional tourism directorate, Maynas in 2021. Developed under an applied type research, correlational descriptive level and non-experimental design, taking into account a population and sample of 55 workers selected through non- probabilistic convenience sampling, data collection was carried out through the survey technique and the questionnaire was used as an instrument, in addition, the data were processed through the statistical program Excel and SPSS, calculating in them the frequency and percentage, as well as the normality test and the statistical correlations through Spearman's Rho. After processing and analyzing the data, the work concluded that institutional management maintains a considerable relationship of 0.869 with sustainable tourism, a correlation that also presents a significance at the 0.01 level. Likewise, institutional management is considerably related to 0.815 with the social aspect of sustainable tourism. At the same time, the institution management maintains an average relationship of 0.656 with the environmental aspect of sustainable tourism. Finally, it was determined that there is a considerable relationship of 0.833 between institutional management and the environmental aspect.
