Sumario:The study was based on the influential factors in the agricultural development of the native community of Centro Arenal, District of Punchana. The objective was to determine and analyze the environmental, economic and social factors. The method of observation, descriptive, non-experimental research design (cross-sectional) was used. 40 agricultural producers in the community were surveyed with questionnaires prepared by the thesis student and validated by three specialists. The results indicate that, of the 40 people surveyed, 70% mention that the economic factor is the one that most influences agricultural production, considered high. 2.5% environmental factor, while 12.5% organizational factor and 15% social factor. They cultivate a higher percentage of vegetables, cassava and plantain, in addition to corn. They use their own seed for the production of their crops (75%), they do not use chemical inputs such as fertilizers or pesticides; consider the tomato worm as the most important pest of vegetable cultivation (50%) and of medium influence. Regarding breeding, regional chicken breeding prevails and is extensive (92.5%). They did not receive training in productive aspects in a high range (82.5%). Primary education prevails as the level of instruction (85%) and there is no community organization.
