Sumario:The main objective of the research presented below was to describe the performance of the initial education teacher in the virtual classroom in the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Humanities of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon located in Iquitos in the year 2021. The type of research has been descriptive with a cross-sectional, field, and univariate design. Twenty-eight teachers of initial education of the faculty were considered as population and sample of the study. To collect the data, the survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire as an instrument, which was previously submitted to expert judgment. The data collection was done to the students of the teaching population. The main conclusion is that the level of teaching performance in the virtual classroom of initial education in the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Humanities of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, according to 88.0% of the students surveyed, is good, while for the 12.0% is regular, there is no teacher with a poor or inadequate level of performance in the virtual classroom.
