Sumario:The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between growth and development control and the classification of psychomotor development in children under 2 years of age attended at the Health Services Provider Institution (IPRESS), Maynas, Iquitos 2021. The results were as follows: 73.7% of the children studied complied with the Growth and Development Control, 26.3% did not comply. Regarding the classification of development; 70.7% present normal development, while 29.3% present risk. Conclusions: In the bivariate analysis, it could be found that 70.7%, comply with the growth and development control and classified with normal development and 3.0%, classified with risk in development. The statistical test applied X2 (c) with continuity correction 80.5 gl P < 0.01 and contingency coefficient (Nominal) 0.680 d large, confirms the study hypothesis: There is a statistical relationship between compliance with the growth and development control schedule and the classification of psychomotor development.
