This study was developed to answer the question: What is the relationship between personal hygiene and parenting styles in children of the Alfaro 434 San Pablo Initial Educational Institution? And the general objective was: Relate personal hygiene and parenting styles in children of the Educational Institution. As a methodology, a field, cross-sectional, bivariate, non-experimental, relational type design was applied. The population and sample were 30 school children and to obtain data the survey and interview technique was applied and there were two instruments: a questionnaire and an interview guide, which were validated by experts. The conclusion is that there is a statistically significant relationship between the personal hygiene variable and permissive parenting styles (rxy=0.526*; Sig. < 0.05), but no statistically significant relationship was found with authoritarian and democratic parenting styles, respectively (rxy= - 0.061°; Sig. > 0.05 and rxy= 0.011°; Sig. > 0.05). Which complies with what is mentioned in the research hypothesis: "There is a significant relationship between personal hygiene and some parenting style in children of the Alfaro 434 San Pablo 2021 Initial Educational Institution."
