This profesional services report describes the functions develope as parto f the technical team of the regional management of forestery and willife development between the years 2019 to 2022, through the managment of mechanisms and tools for control and surveillance of wildlife resources within the framework of law 29773, by bibliographic review and personal experience. The problem of ilegal wildlife trafficking at the regional and national levels, and within the framework of CITES is described. There are operational plans and supervisors,the forest and wildife alert, the regional table for forest and wildlife control and surveillance committee and the forest custodians; whie the tools for control and surveillance are the national strategy to reduce illegal wildlife trafficking and its action plan 2017-2021, categorization of threatened species of Perú, Appendix I, II, III CITES. It is concluded that the application of the mechanisms and tools for the actions of control and surveillance of wildlife, constitute an activity that requies high logistical costs, for which, la legislation itself promotes the participation of other actors in the fight against the extraction and illegal wildlife trade.
