Descripción
Sumario:The study was carried out at the nursery of CIEFOR Puerto Almendra (FCF-UNAP), located in San Juan Bautista, Maynas Province, Loreto Region. The purpose is to evaluate the growth in height and diameter, survival and quality of 600 seeds of Couroupita guianensis “ayahuma” in a nursery using various substrates. With 16.92 cm, treatment A2B3 (black soil+rotten stick /60% lighting) showed the greatest increase in height. Treatment A2B2 (chicken manure and rotten wood/60% lighting) showed the greatest increase in the diameter of C. According to the statistical análisis, the “F” test indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the lighting levels in terms of growth in both height and diameter (p=0.000). Treatment A2B2 (chicken manure+rotten wood/60% illumination) had the best survival rate with 65 live plants (92.4%), followed by treatment A1B2 (chicken manure+rotten wood /30% illumination) with 64 live plants (91.6%). Of the total, 469 plants (78.2%) managed to survive. In all treatments, C. guianensis plants showed a regular quality coefficient. With a confidence leve lof 95%, the null hypothesis is supported in this test for height growth and diameter of C. guianensis plants.
