The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between document management and decision-making in the treasury area of the Requena Local Educational Management Unit as of the third quarter 2021; opting for an applied research and non-experimental design, for which a sample of 15 workers in the treasury area of UGEL has been taken, who were surveyed through a questionnaire; Managing to conclude that, in document management, it is regular, since the institution seldom has a scheme for the drafting of documents, likewise, the existing documentation is almost never verified and contrasted, but a control of all the received requests is carried out Furthermore, the area designated for documents is seldom kept clean and tidy. On the other hand, decision-making in the treasury area of the UGEL of Requena is regular, since the manager seldom has useful information to make a decision, likewise almost never performs an analysis on the financial context to make a correct decision, but sometimes it makes a diagnosis of the financial situation. Finally, it has been determined that there is a relationship between document management and decision-making in the treasury area of the Requena Local Educational Management Unit as of the third quarter of 2021, approved significance of 0.000 and a Pearson correlation of 0.969 being very strong positive.
