Sumario: | The objective of this work was to describe the social perception about the handling and management of solid waste in the residents of the AAHH El Bosque in the year 2022. Due to its approach, it was quantitative, prospective, simple descriptive and non-experimental in design. The sample was also made up of 33 residents, inclusion and exclusion criteria were considered, the technique was the survey and the instrument applied was a questionnaire of fifteen questions, the same one that passed the content validity tests (Aiken's V) and reliability (Test and Retest). The data were processed and tabulated through the statistical package SPSS version 23. The results indicate in terms of environmental contamination, that the AAHH is rarely and never clean (69.7%), that it is always and often there is accumulation of solid waste (69.7%), that always and many times the accumulation of solid waste generates bad odors and with the presence of bad odors and insects and rodents (100%) and that it is the neighbors, who generate solid waste (81.8%) due to the little habit of collecting garbage by the residents (90.9%), being its accumulation daily and every other day and daily (84.8%) As for the social perception ial on the health of the population due to the presence of household solid waste, 60.6% indicated that if it causes them a headache and alters their tranquility (84.8%) with the presence of accumulation of solid waste. The social perception of the inhabitants in Regarding the municipal management of solid waste, the majority indicated that they are not happy with the municipal service, which is reflected in the fact that 72.7% stated that it is inadequate, being the majority response. |
