The objective of this work was to describe the social perception about the handling and management of solid waste in the residents of the AAHH El Bosque in the year 2022. Due to its approach, it was quantitative, prospective, simple descriptive and non-experimental in design. The sample was also made up of 33 residents, inclusion and exclusion criteria were considered, the technique was the survey and the instrument applied was a questionnaire of fifteen questions, the same one that passed the content validity tests (Aiken's V) and reliability (Test and Retest). The data were processed and tabulated through the statistical package SPSS version 23.
