Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of the role-playing educational program on the development of social skills in fourth-grade secondary students at Mariscal Oscar Raimundo Benavides Educational Institution, Iquitos, in 2023. An evaluative, longitudinal, field, and univariate design was used, with a total sample of 98 students, divided equally into an experimental group of 49 students and a control group of 49 students. Data collection was carried out through a survey and a social skills test, both validated by experts. The results indicated that the role-playing program had a positive and significant effect on improving the students' social skills. Although both the experimental group and the control group started at a regular level, the experimental group showed a notable improvement at the end of the intervention. A reduction from 100% to 0% was observed in the percentage of students at a regular level and an increase from 0% to 100% in the percentage of students at a good level. In summary, the results support the effectiveness of the role-playing program in developing and strengthening students' social skills.
