The present study aimed to determine the teachers' feelings about the formative evaluation of first grade students at the Educational Institution Nº 60543 "Grimanesa Navarro Guerra" in the city of Nauta. Since this is a study of this nature, a quantitative research method is assumed and the design is descriptive. The population consisted of 30 elementary school teachers; a sample of the same number was used in the census. Non-probabilistic sampling was used. The questionnaire served as an instrument and the survey technique was used. The tables containing the percentages and averages of the data were examined by means of statistical graphs. It was possible to respond once the data had been analyzed by means of statistical tables and graphs and the mean and mode were applied, which made it possible to respond to the objectives set. The most relevant conclusions were the following: It is medium, the level of perception of teachers about Formative Evaluation in students of the primary level of the Educational Institution N° 60543 "Grimanesa Navarro Guerra" - El Cerro- Nauta, with 83%.
