ELOR SA, through the planning, management and regulation management, through the head of information and communication technologies, identified the need to develop a computer system that allows the loading and processing of technical commercial information and result in the reports of the annexes 1 and 2 of the manual for preparing the power balance factor and monthly energy balance, with which the cost is minimized, thus overcoming the problem of compiling the physical files, or in spreadsheets, registered by the technicians in charge of supervise the operation of the transformation plants. The question is what is the effect of the development and implementation of a computer system in the preparation of reports of the power balance factor and energy balance ELOR 2021? The objective was to determine said effect, for this the specific objectives are to evaluate before and after the implementation of the computer system, and to describe the difference of these evaluations; With the implementation, it is expected to improve the preparation of reports. The research is quantitative, applied, with non-experimental, analytical and cross-sectional intervention. The sample universe is made up of 62 reports. The non-parametric Chi square statistic of homogeneity was applied with a level of 0.05. The relevant results are that with the use of the computer system 100% of the reports are prepared too quickly and present the real magnitude. It is concluded that the effect of the computer system is of improvement in the preparation of ELOR S.A. reports. 2021.
