Descripción
Sumario:It is a non-experimental quantitative study of the descriptive, analytical, transversal type, with the purpose of analyzing the fire safety system and the training in safety standards and procedures in the behavior of the workers of the Las Amazonas District Municipality -Francisco de Orellana. The primary information was obtained through the application of a structured census-type interview of a total of 35 workers from different departments of the Municipality. The reliability of the Cronbach's Alpha instrument is 0.815. The normality of the Shapiro Wilk data allowed the use of Spearman's correlation. in the statistical analyses, which allowed us to conclude that the majority of workers do not know the location of the fire extinguishers and have not received adequate training on their use, which puts the ability to respond to emergencies at risk. This highlights the need to implement more effective training programs for all staff. Evacuation routes lack adequate signage and are frequently obstructed, and the fire alarm system is not working. These deficiencies require urgent attention to ensure safe evacuation in the event of a fire. There is irregular participation in fire drills, which affects the general preparation of personnel in the event of a real emergency. Although workers show willingness to receive more training, inconsistency in compliance with safety standards and lack of responsible behavior indicate the need to strengthen the safety culture. The Spearman correlation shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the "Fire Safety System" and "Worker Behavior". This implies that improvements in the security system are associated with better safety behaviors on the part of Municipality workers.
