It is a non-experimental quantitative study of the descriptive, analytical, transversal type, with the purpose of analyzing the fire safety system and the training in safety standards and procedures in the behavior of the workers of the Las Amazonas District Municipality -Francisco de Orellana. The primary information was obtained through the application of a structured census-type interview of a total of 35 workers from different departments of the Municipality. The reliability of the Cronbach's Alpha instrument is 0.815. The normality of the Shapiro Wilk data allowed the use of Spearman's correlation. in the statistical analyses, which allowed us to conclude that the majority of workers do not know the location of the fire extinguishers and have not received adequate training on their use, which puts the ability to respond to emergencies at risk.
