Descripción
Sumario:This research was conducted at the Fe y Alegría civil construction company in 2024. Its objective was to determine the perception of the company's workers regarding occupational risk prevention management. The research was quantitative, prospective, and descriptive-comparative, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional research design. Thirty workers participated, and were present during the data collection process. The technique used was a survey, where a questionnaire was administered with four indicators, 24 questions, and answers on a Likert-type scale. The content had been previously validated and reliability tested. The main findings indicated that the majority of Fe y Alegría Consortium workers maintain a neutral perception of occupational safety, with a favorable perception of preventive medical examinations consistent among workers, regardless of gender or educational level. Likewise, the majority of Fe y Alegría Consortium workers maintain a neutral perception of preventive medical treatment, and most workers do not clearly perceive the usefulness or systematicity of health education activities. This reflects a low visibility or weak pedagogical implementation. Among other recommendations, the following are suggested: the implementation of differentiated occupational safety training programs adapted to the workers' educational level, as well as the design of a comprehensive occupational health education plan, with differentiated content based on the workers' educational profile, including graphic materials, participatory sessions, and periodic learning assessments.
