The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the motivational climate and work performance, with an applied study and nonexperimental design, whose population and study sample was 92 workers, who were used the item questionnaire. Obtaining as results that the level of motivational climate is regular, because the relationship with their peers is sometimes good; but they almost never choose to work with other people, rather than working alone. For its part, the level of work performance is medium, since sometimes it participates responsibly in group meetings and activities; and sometimes they abide by the institutional rules, norms and procedures when carrying out their functions. Finally, it was determined that there is a relationship between the study variables, contrasted by a coefficient of 0.803 and a significance of 0.000.
