The objective of the thesis report is to determine the relationship that exists between municipal management and tourism promotion of the Punchana District, 2023, choosing an applied type study, descriptive-correlational level and non-experimental design, working with 45 people who were I apply a questionnaire to collect information. According to the results obtained, municipal management is acceptable (31%), since the financial administrative capacity is good; Furthermore, the quality of the services offered by the municipality is acceptable, as is the ability to inform the population about legal regulations. For its part, tourism promotion is rated as bad (33%), this is because the promotion of negotiations for tourist attractions is bad; just as the Municipality contributes in a bad way to tourism projects. Determining that there is a moderate positive correlation between the variables, which was corroborated by a Spearman's Rho coefficient (0.604) and a significance of 0.000.
