Maestría en Conservación de Recursos ForestalesEl presente estudio tiene por finalidad, determinar la contribución de las investigaciones realizadas en las Áreas Naturales Protegidas de Loreto, a la conservación de la biodiversidad en el período 2010-2014. Las áreas consideradas en el estudio son: Reserva Nacional Pacaya Samiria, Reserva Nacional Allpahuayo Mishana, Reserva Nacional Matsés, Reserva Nacional Pucacuro, Parque Nacional Güeppí-Sekime, Reserva Comunal Airo Pai y Reserva Comunal Huimecki. La investigación es descriptiva y explicativa. El método aplicado es la encuesta estructurada dirigida a jefes del ANP y búsqueda de información en instituciones de Loreto. Las Jefaturas de ANP solo tienen el plan maestro como documento de planificación a excepción de las Reservas Comunales Airo Pai y Huimecki que no lo tienen y de la Reserva Nacional Pacaya Samiria sin actualizar. No poseen planes de investigación y en algunos casos solo priorizadas las investigaciones en sus planes maestros, como son las Reservas Nacionales de Allpahuayo Mishana, Pucacuro y Matsés. La deficiente sistematización de investigaciones en las áreas protegidas no permite contar con la información generada y dificulta aunar esfuerzos concertados y multidisciplinarios de cooperación orientados al conocimiento y conservación de la biodiversidad. Los principales temas de investigación estudiados son: conservación (72,44%), evaluación (10,26%) y ecología (5,13%). El 52,78% de investigaciones se realizaron en un año. De 156 investigaciones realizadas: 54 contaban con autorización, 27 investigaciones con colecta, cuatro estudios con genes. Se estudiaron 35 especies de fauna silvestre y ocho grupos de especies de flora. Los ambientes naturales más estudiados: ANP (26,32%); cuencas de ríos (22,81%); bosques de varillales (8,19%); ríos (7,61%); bosques amazónicos (5,85%). Investigadores mayormente peruanos (62,82%) y Reino Unido (26,28%); entregaron informes preliminares (9,62 %) e informes finales (16,03%). Las investigaciones realizadas contribuyeron con: información relevante en el conocimiento del estado de conservación de ecosistemas y especies, toma de decisiones, definir estrategias, programar actividades y monitoreo, para lograr conservar la biodiversidad y mejorar la gestión del área.The purpose of the study is to determine the contribution of the investigations carried out in natural protected areas of Loreto to the conservation of biodiversity in the period 20102014. The areas studied were: the National Reserves of Pacaya Samiria, Allpahuayo Mishana, Matses and Pucacuro, National Park Güeppí-Sekime, and the Communal Reserves of Airo Pai and Huimecki. The research is descriptive and explanatory. The applied method is the structured survey directed to heads of the ANP and search for information in institutions of Loreto. The headquarters of the ANP only have the master plan as a document of planning, except the Communal Reserves of Airo Pai and Huimecki, that don’t have it; and the national reserve of Pacaya Samiria without updating. They don’t have research plans and primarily the national reserves of Allpahuayo Mishana, Pucacuro and Matses come prioritizing the researchs in their master plans. The poor systematization of investigations in protected areas doesn’t allow to count with the information generated and it difficults to join concerted efforts and multidisciplinary of cooperation that are oriented to the knowledge and biodiversity conservation. The main themes of investigation studied are: conservation (72,44%), evaluation (10,26) and ecology (5,13). The 52,78% of investigations were made in a year.
