Departamento Académico de HorticulturaSe realizó un ensayo en la Universidad Nacional Agraria ‘La Molina’ con la finalidad de evaluar el efecto de cuatro bioestimulantes formulados a base de aminoácidos en ají jalapeño del cultivar ‘Everman’, sobre el rendimiento del cultivo, la calidad de los frutos (expresado en las dimensiones y el peso) y el contenido de materia seca acumulada en tallos, hojas y frutos. Los bioestimulantes utilizados fueron: Fitoamin®, Naturamin®Plus, Cropbioscience N-8® y Terra-Sorb® foliar, los que fueron enfrentados a un testigo, el cual no recibió una aplicación foliar. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar y los datos fueron analizados mediante el ANVA y una prueba de Duncan a un nivel de confianza del 5%. Al comparar las medias, estas indicaron que no hubo diferencias estadísticas entre los tratamientos para las variables que fueron rendimiento total, el número de frutos por planta, parámetros de calidad y porcentaje de materia seca. Sin embargo, se mostró una tendencia superior respecto al rendimiento por el tratamiento Naturamin®Plus quien logró rendimientos de 10.25 toneladas por hectárea y 462.5 frutos por planta. Los parámetros de calidad de fruto no tuvieron tendencias positivas comparadas con el testigo, mientras que en los porcentajes de materia seca se observó que, si hubo una respuesta positiva por parte de los tratamientos comparados con el testigo, pero sin diferencias estadísticas.Atrial was carried out at the National Agrarian University 'La Molina' in order to evaluate the effect of four biostimulants based on amino acids in jalapeño pepper cv 'Everman' , on crop yield, quality of the fruits ( expressed in dimensions and weight) and dry matter content in stems, leaves and fruits. The biostimulants used were: Fitoamin®, Naturamin®Plus, Cropbioscience N-8® and Terra-Sorb® foliar, which were compared with a control, who did not receive a foliar application. A randomized block design was used and the data were analyzed with Duncan's test at a confidence level of 5%. Results indicated that there were no statistical differences between the treatments for variables evaluated: yield, number of fruits per plant, fruit quality parameters and dry matter content. However, higher yield were observed using Naturamin®Plus treatment, which achieved yields of 10.25 tons per hectare and 462.5 fruits per plant.
