La Autoridad Municipal de los Pantanos de Villa (PROHVILLA) administra el Área Ecológica Metropolitana (AEM), que representa el 80% de la extensión del humedal, realiza diversas actividades en pro de la conservación de este importante ecosistema. Dentro de estas, el presente trabajo detalla los monitoreos ambientales (calidad de agua, aire y ruido) realizados en la Zona de Reglamentación Especial de los Pantanos de Villa (ZRE PV). Se presentan los resultados obtenidos de los monitoreos en el período 2019-202, su análisis basándonos en la normativa ambiental vigente y las acciones implementadas por PROHVILLA en base a dichos monitoreos. Se registraron las siguientes acciones: generación de dos artículos científicos “Evaluación de la Calidad de Agua de la Laguna Marvilla en Los Pantanos de Villa”, “Evaluación de la calidad del agua en los canales de la ZRE PV” y elaboración del “Plan de Recuperación de la Infraestructura Hídrica de la ZRE PV 2020-2024” para calidad de agua. En base a los resultados de ruido ambiental se elaboró el “Plan de Manejo Silvicultural de las especies usadas como cerco vivo para la Protección del entorno del AEM”. Se enviaron informes de la incidencia de la contaminación acústica sobre la fauna del humedal a la Municipalidad de Lima que permitió establecer los límites máximos de velocidad en las principales avenidas. En base a los datos de aire se trabajaron en campañas de sensibilización con el Consejo de Niñas y Niños Guardianes de los Pantanos de Villa. Estas acciones contribuyen en la protección de los canales que alimentan las lagunas del humedal; así como, en la protección de especies de fauna y con ello en la conservación de la ZRE PV.The Pantanos de Villa wetland, a Protected Natural Area and Ramsar site, is under constant threat due to the impacts caused by anthropogenic activities. The Municipal Authority of the Pantanos de Villa (PROHVILLA) administers the Metropolitan Ecological Area (AEM), which represents 80% of the extension of the wetland, carries out various activities in favor of the conservation of this important ecosystem. Within these, the present work details the environmental monitoring (water, air and noise quality) carried out in the Special Regulation Zone of the Pantanos de Villa (ZRE PV). Reports on the incidence of noise pollution on the fauna of the wetland were sent to the Municipality of Lima, which allowed the establishment of maximum speed limits on the main avenues. Based on the air data, awareness campaigns were carried out with the Council of Girls and Boys Guardians of the Pantanos de Villa.
