Walp) en el distrito de Barranca, Perú, con el objetivo de mejorar la competitividad de los pequeños productores en el mercado del Reino Unido. Utilizando un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, se recolectaron datos mediante encuestas aplicadas a una muestra de 70 productores, evaluando variables como la cooperación mutua (XD1), el desarrollo de capacidades (XD2) y la exportación (Y). Los resultados obtenidos, con un alfa de Cronbach de 0.931 para la variable X y 0.885 para la variable Y, indican una alta confiabilidad del instrumento. Las pruebas de correlación no paramétrica (Spearman) revelaron una correlación positiva y significativa entre la asociatividad y la exportación, con un coeficiente Rho de 0.822 para la hipótesis general. La investigación destaca que la cooperación y el desarrollo mutuo de capacidades son cruciales para mejorar la calidad del producto, cumplir con normativas internacionales y fortalecer el poder de negociación. Se propone un modelo de asociatividad empresarial que incluye la formación de cooperativas, capacitación continua, acceso a financiamiento y certificaciones internacionales, mejoras en infraestructura y tecnologías de postcosecha, y la promoción activa en mercados internacionales. Este modelo busca superar los desafíos identificados y aprovechar las oportunidades de crecimiento económico mediante la colaboración efectiva entre productores. Las conclusiones subrayan la importancia de la asociatividad como estrategia fundamental para incrementar la capacidad de exportación y la sostenibilidad económica de los productores de frijol castilla en Barranca, proponiendo políticas y programas que fomenten la colaboración y el desarrollo de capacidades, alineadas con las necesidades del mercado global y los estándares de calidad exigidos.This research, of a basic type and quantitative approach, analyzes the relationship between associativity and the export of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp) in the Barranca district, Peru, aiming to improve the competitiveness of small producers in the UK market. Using a non-experimental cross-sectional design, data were collected through surveys applied to a sample of 70 producers, evaluating variables such as mutual cooperation (XD1), capacity development (XD2), and export (Y). The results obtained, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.931 for variable X and 0.885 for variable Y, indicate high instrument reliability.
