Departamento Académico de Recursos HídricosTener con una relación detallada de todas las obras hidráulicas que totalizan un sistema de riego es primordial para optimizar el manejo de los recursos hídricos y planificar adecuadamente las actividades que aseguren un funcionamiento óptimo de la infraestructura. Por este motivo es que la finalidad del presente trabajo es renovar el inventario de infraestructura hidráulica del subsector hidráulico Chosica Vieja Los Cóndores, con el motivo de elevar la eficacia en el suministro del recurso hídrico. El trabajo consiste en la recopilación de la información existente, la recolección de datos en campo y el procesamiento de esta data mediante el uso del software ArcGIS como herramienta principal, en el marco de las directrices definidas en el Reglamento de Operadores de la Infraestructura Hidráulica. La información recolectada en campo fue digitalizada en los formatos establecidos por el reglamento y sistematizada mediante el uso de ArcGIS. Asimismo, se elaboró el esquema hidráulico y un plano del inventario con información actualizada. Se obtuvo que la red de riego de este subsector tiene como fuentes naturales los ríos Santa Eulalia y Rímac; además, cuenta con dos puntos de captación, dos canales de derivación, trece canales laterales, ciento veintiuna tomas prediales y ciento setenta y cuatro obras de arte distribuidas a lo largo de la red de canales, las cuales benefician directamente a ciento veintiún usuarios y abastecen una superficie de 185.518 ha de área bajo riego. De esta manera, se logró la recolección específica de las estructuras que constituyen el sistema hidráulico y se aplicó el uso del software ArcGIS para estructurar la información en una base de datos que facilita los cálculos geográficos, la representación gráfica de los elementos y la actualización periódica del inventario.Having a detailed record of the hydraulic works that make up an irrigation system is essential for optimizing water resource management and properly planning activities that ensure the optimal operation os the infrastructure. Therefore, the objective of this study is to update the inventory of hydraulic infrastructure in the Chosica Vieja Los Cóndores Hydraulic Subsector, with the aim of improving water supply efficiency. The work involve compiling existing information, collecting field data, and processing this information using ArcGIS software as the main tool, within the framework of the guidelines established in the Regulations for Hydraulic Infrastructure Operators. The data collected in the field were digitized according to the formats established by the regulations and systematized using ArcGIS. In addition, a hydraulic diagram and an updated inventory plan were prepared. The study found that the irrigation system in this subsector uses the Santa Eulalia and Rímac rivers as it´s natural wáter sources. It also includes two intake points, two diversion channels, thirteen lateral channels, one hundred and twenty-one property intakes, and one hundred and seventy-four structures distributed throughout the canal network, which directly benefit one hundred and twenty-one users and supply an area of 185.518 hectares.
