Departamento Académico de Gestión EmpresarialEste trabajo profesional presenta la aplicación de las herramientas de mejora continua Ciclo de Deming y Balanced Scorecard (BSC) que articuladas a la herramienta Escala de Avance del Sistema Nacional de Evaluación, Acreditación y Certificación de la Calidad Educativa (SINEACE), se logró alcanzar niveles altos de autoevaluación del Programa Doctoral en Economía de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (PDERN y DS – UNALM) para cumplir con los estándares de acreditación del modelo según SINEACE. Este trabajo es descriptivo, no experimental y se refiere a un periodo determinado (2018-2020). El nivel de autoevaluación alcanzado corresponde al nivel de avance promedio general de 9 respecto de los 10 niveles que se especifican, lo que implica estar en condiciones de presentar el PDERN y DS a la acreditación otorgada por el SINEACE. El Ciclo de Deming consta de los procesos: planificar, hacer, verificar y actuar, con la participación de los actores involucrados y, el BSC incorpora perspectivas estratégicas: financiera, interna, de innovación y aprendizaje y, del cliente, permitiendo medir o evaluar los objetivos estratégicos. El texto presenta, en primer lugar, los estándares de acreditación alcanzados con el modelo CONEAU1, anterior al SINEACE, con la finalidad de tener un punto de partida en la autoevaluación. En segundo lugar, se presenta la aplicación de las tres metodologías articuladas y, en tercer lugar, se evidencia el impacto de la aplicación de las metodologías en el proceso de autoevaluación llegando al nivel de avance promedio general de 9 con el punto de partida de 5. Se evidencia la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos durante la carrera a través de varios cursos, lo cual permitió tener un enfoque integral como parte importante de la formación profesional. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones.This professional work presents the application of the continuous improvement tools Deming Cycle and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) that articulated to the Progress Scale tool of the National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of Educational Quality (SINEACE), it was possible to achieve high levels of self-evaluation of the PhD Program in Economics at the National Agrarian University La Molina (PDERN y DS – UNALM) to meet the model accreditation standards according to SINEACE. This work is descriptive, not experimental and refers to a specific period (2018-2020). The level of self-evaluation achieved corresponds to the general average progress level of 9 regarding to the 10 levels specified, which implies being in conditions to present the PDERN y DS for accreditation granted by SINEACE. The Deming Cycle consists of the processes: plan, do, verify and act, with the participation of the involved stakeholders and, the BSC incorporates strategic perspectives: financial, internal, innovation and learning and, the client, allowing to measure or evaluate the strategic objectives. The text presents, first of all, the accreditation standards achieved with the CONEAU2 model, prior to SINEACE, in order to have a starting point in self-evaluation. Secondly, the application of the three articulated methodologies is presented and, thirdly, the impact of the application of the methodologies in the self-evaluation process is evidenced, reaching a general average progress level of 9 with a starting point of 5. The application of the acquired knowledge during the career through several courses is evidenced, which allowed to have an integral focusing as an important part of professional training.
