Departamento Académico de Economía y PlanificaciónEl principal objetivo de esta investigación fue en demostrar la existencia de una relación positiva entre la productividad del capital humano y el incremento del PBI (Producto Bruto Interno) per cápita generado por la PEA (Población Económicamente Activa) del Perú entre los años 2008 y 2015. Se estudio las veinticuatro regiones del Perú para los años del 2008 al 2015. La metodología de la investigación es explicativa econométrica, basado en el modelo de Solow Extendido y Convergencia desarrollado en Mankiw et al(1992) con variables dependientes: el PBI per cápita de la PEA (y) de los años 2008 (y2008),2015 (y2015) y la diferencia (y2015 -y2008), las variables independientes son: la tasa de Crecimiento de la Población Promedio (n), el Promedio Porcentual de la PEA con Educación Universitario o capital humano(sh) y el Gasto Publico Promedio por Alumno Universitario o capital físico (sk). Se evaluó: El caso I (y2008) , el caso II (y2015 ) y la convergencia. Los resultados para el caso I y II son: sh y sk, son positivos y significativos; los coeficientes de correlación (R2 ajustado) son de 0.61 y 0.67 respectivamente. La convergencia es efectiva, con un coeficiente negativo de y2008 ,y R2 ajustado de 0.42 con sh. Se concluye que la productividad de sh y sk incrementa y; siendo así, que los dos casos apoyan fuertemente el modelo de Solow extendido. La convergencia; la disminución de la brecha de ingresos per cápita entre regiones, es en menor tiempo cuando se invirtió en el capital humano. Por lo tanto, la inversión en la PEA con Educación Universitaria incrementa el ingreso per cápita de la PEA del Perú, disminuyendo de esta forma la brecha de ingreso per cápita entre las regiones durante el periodo del 2008 al 2015The main objective of this research was to demonstrate the existence of a positive relationship between the productivity of human capital and the increase in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) per capita generated by the WAP (Working Age Population) of Peru between 2008 and 2015 . The twenty-four regions of Peru were studied for the years 2008 to 2015. The methodology of the research is econometric explanatory, based on the extended Solow model and Convergence developed in Mankiw et al (1992) with dependent variables: GDP per capita of the WAP or income (y) for the years 2008 (y2008), 2015 (y2015) and the difference (y2015-y2008), the independent variables are: the Growth Rate of the Average Population (n), the Average Percentage of the WAP with University Education or human capital (sh) and Average Public Expenditure per University Student or physical capital (sk). The following were evaluated: Case I (y2008), case II (y2015) and convergence. The results for case I and II are:sh and sk, they are positive and significant; the correlation coefficients (R2 adjusted) are 0.61 and 0.67 respectively. The convergence is effective, with a negative coefficient of y2008, and R2 adjusted of 0.42 with sh.
