Departamento Académico de Manejo ForestalEl presente trabajo describe las actividades realizadas para la empresa TIPUANA SAC, bajo el cargo de Supervisora de campo en el proyecto de “Revegetación en la Central Hidroeléctrica Marañón”, ubicado en el Centro Poblado de Palanca, región Huánuco. El proyecto tuvo como objetivo principal el revegetar la zona del Depósito de Material Excedente N° 2 (DME 2) y así poder recuperar la cobertura vegetal, a través de la utilización de especies que crecen de manera natural en la zona del proyecto. De esta manera se pudo evaluar la respuesta del establecimiento de plantas de porte arbóreo Schinus molle L., a través de la supervivencia y altura de los individuos plantados. Transcurrido el primer año de instalación y de monitoreos frecuentes, se observó que los plantones de Schinus molle L. de la zona DME 2 tuvieron una supervivencia del 77,3%. Asimismo, el crecimiento promedio anual fue de 15,96 cm.The present work describes the activities carried out for the company TIPUANA SAC, in the position of Field Supervisor in the project "Revegetation at the Marañón Hydroelectric Plant", located in the populated center of Palanca, Huánuco region. The main objective of the project was to revegetate the area of Excess Material Deposit N° 2 (EMD 2) and thus restore vegetative cover, through the use of species that naturally grow in the project area. In this way, it was possible to assess the response of the establishment of Schinus molle L. tree-sized plants, through survival and height of the planted individuals. After the first year of installation and frequent monitoring, it was observed that the Schinus molle L. seedlings in the EMD 2 area had a survival rate of 77,3%.
