Para poder solventar la cantidad de personas requeridas, las empresas agroexportadoras contratan en las ciudades cercanas, así como, construyen campamentos dentro de sus instalaciones para poder captar de lugares más alejados. Aun así, existe escases de mano de obra en épocas de poda, raleo y cosecha debido al vertiginoso incremento del área plantada; lo cual conlleva la competencia por la existente, elevando los precios del jornal actual. Es de vital importancia asegurar la eficiencia y eficacia de las labores realizadas en campo, así como la correcta utilización de recursos existentes para reducir el costo de producción. El presente trabajo es el resultado de la experiencia laboral dirigiendo un campo agrícola de uva de mesa Red Globe en la Pampa de Villacurí – Ica; el documento se basa en una revisión literaria acerca de aspectos generales del cultivo como es su taxonomía, fisiología y fenología, así como fertirrigación y características físico-químicas del agua y fertilizante; de manera que al ser complementados con la experiencia laboral de las principales labores desarrolladas en campo como la poda, el desbrote, la primera y segunda regulación de carga, la eliminación de zarcillos y falsos hombros, el deshoje prefloración, raleo manual, la calle de luz y cosecha, se pueda proponer estrategias y parametrizar las labores bajo el estudio de sus componentes, así como desarrollar fórmulas que permitan facilitar la toma de decisión y se plantea una estrategia de riego y fertilización, la cual es el resultado de la adaptación de las bases teóricas a la realidad de la zona de Ica caracterizada por niveles elevados de salinidad, nitrógeno, cloro y sodio.The cultivation of table grapes in Peru is one of the fastest growing agricultural products in the last decade, being planted along the entire Peruvian coast. In order to meet the required number of people, agro-export companies hire in nearby cities, as well as build camps within their facilities to be able to recruit from more distant places. Even so, there are labor shortages during pruning, thinning and harvesting periods due to the rapid increase in the planted area; which entails competition for the existing one, raising the prices of the current daily wage. Within the framework of all this, it is vitally important to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the work carried out in the field, as well as the correct use of existing resources to reduce the cost of production.
