La principal fuente de desarrollo de la zona es la actividad agropecuaria y como una adversidad no cuentan con infraestructuras hidráulicas que ayuden a la captación y regulación del recurso hídrico de la zona. Ante esta problemática la Municipalidad zonal junto a la Unidad Ejecutora Fondo Sierra Azul (UEFSA) se unieron para poder dar inicio a este proyecto, que será ejecutado por administración directa en la modalidad de núcleos ejecutores. La construcción del dique en la qocha Puyhuash 9 será de gran utilidad para el desarrollo de sus principales actividades socio-económicas para esta comunidad. En conjunto con el equipo técnico, analizando los estudios básicos e integrando resultados se obtuvo un diseño seguro y viable para poder ejecutar el proyecto como indica en el expediente técnico, teniendo así un volumen incremental de recarga hídrica de 8,610.86 m3, y disponiendo de estructuras como la de descarga, sumado a esto el taller de capacitación en operación y mantenimiento a los beneficiarios, se obtendrán los mejores resultados de la regulación del recurso hídrico en toda el área de influencia del proyecto. La ejecución del proyecto se realizó en el plazo establecido, dejando así estructuras de calidad para su correcto uso por parte de los beneficiarios, además de haber generado trabajo en la zona para los pobladores, ayudando con esto a que ellos se sientan identificados con el proyecto y tener una mejor respuesta en campo y en el mantenimiento a lo largo de la vida útil de la estructura.The community of Chupan is located in the high Andean region, within the province of Tarma, Junín region. The main source of development in the area is agricultural and livestock activities. However, one of the challenges they face is the lack of hydraulic infrastructure to support the collection and regulation of the area's water resources. In response to this issue, the local municipality, together with the Unidad Ejecutora Fondo Sierra Azul (UEFSA), joined efforts to launch this project, which will be carried out through direct administration under the “nuclei ejecutores” (executor nuclei) modality. The construction of the dam at Puyhuash 9 pond (qocha) will be highly beneficial for the development of the community's main socio-economic activities. In coordination with the technical team, by analyzing the basic studies and integrating the results, a safe and feasible design was developed, as outlined in the technical report. The project is expected to provide an incremental water recharge volume of 8,610.86 m³ and includes structures such as a discharge outlet. In addition, a training workshop on operation and maintenance will be provided to the beneficiaries, ensuring optimal results in the regulation of water resources across the project’s area of influence. The project was executed within the established timeframe, delivering high-quality infrastructure for proper use by the beneficiaries.
