Departamento Académico de NutriciónEl objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar tres dietas isoproteicas e isocalóricas, con tres niveles de reemplazo 0, 15, 30% de harina de pescado premium por harina de subproducto avícola, en dietas para alevines de Paiche (Arapaima gigas). El ensayo se realizó en el Laboratorio de Investigación en Nutrición y Alimentación de Peces y Crustáceos (LINAPC), del Departamento de Académico de Nutrición, de la Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina (UNALM), durante 28 días, para lo cual se utilizaron 48 alevines de paiche de 30.88 gramos de peso promedio. Fueron distribuidos en tres tratamientos que contenían diferentes niveles de reemplazo de harina de subproducto avícola (HSA) por harina de pescado premium, T1(0% HSA), T2 (15% HSA) y T3 (30% HSA), con cuatro repeticiones de cuatro peces cada uno. Las dietas experimentales fueron formuladas por programación lineal al mínimo costo con los mismos niveles de proteína y energía Mcal/Kg de Energía Digestible. Los parámetros evaluados fueron el peso final, la ganancia de peso, el incremento de talla, el consumo de alimento, la conversión alimenticia, el incremento de longitud, la tasa de crecimiento, la sobrevivencia y el costo de alimentación. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados mediante un diseño completamente al azar, se utilizó la prueba de Duncan para evaluar las diferencias entre los promedios de los tratamientos. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas (P< 0.05) entre todos los tratamientos. Se observan mejores rendimientos de los parámetros evaluados con el nivel de 0% de reemplazo con HSA, seguido por el nivel de 15% de reemplazo con HSA, observándose también que no existen diferencias significativas en la conversión alimenticia entre ambos tratamientos. En conclusión, los resultados obtenidos nos dan un indicativo que la HSA puede ser utilizada hasta en un 15 por ciento de reemplazo en dietas para alevines de paiche.The objective of the present study was to evaluate three isoproteic and isocaloric diets, with three replacement levels 0, 15, 30% of premium fishmeal by poultry by-product meal, in diets for Paiche´s fry (Arapaima gigas). The trial was carried out in the Research Laboratory in Nutrition and Feeding of Fish and Crustaceans (LINAPC), of the Department of Nutrition Academic, of the National Agrarian University of La Molina (UNALM), for 28 days, for this study it was used 48 paiche´s fry of 30.88 grams of average weight. They were distributed in three treatments that contained different levels of poultry by-product meal (PBPM) in replacement of premium fish meal, T1 (0% PBPM), T2 (15% PBPM) and T3 (30% PBPM), with four repetitions of four fish each. The experimental diets were formulated by linear programming at minimum cost with the same level of protein and energy Mcal / Kg of Digestible Energy. The parameters evaluated were the final weight, weight gain, length increase, food consumption, feed conversion, length increase, growth rate, survival and feeding cost. The data obtained were analyzed by a completely randomized design, the Duncan test was used to evaluate the differences between the treatments averages. The results show significant differences (P <0.05) among all treatments. Better performance of the parameters evaluated were observed with the level of 0% replacement with PBPM, followed by the level of 15% replacement with PBPM, also it was observed that there are no significant differences in the feed conversion between both treatments.
