Departamento Académico de HorticulturaEl valle de Mala es un abastecedor importante de muchas frutas y hortalizas, y entre las que se encuentra el cultivo de tomate (Solanum lycopersicum), siendo un abastecedor de este fruto a la capital en los meses de diciembre a junio. Por lo tanto, el presente trabajo tiene la finalidad de mostrar toda la información básica para la producción de este cultivo. En la cual se inicia el cultivo con la sectorización del terreno donde se sembrarán todos los lotes de la campaña, para luego proceder con el subsolado adecuado y surcado, luego de esta labor se procede a la correspondiente aplicación de acondicionadores de suelo, en la cual ahondaremos en este punto debido a su importancia y mejora significativa de la efectividad de los fertilizantes inorgánicos, reflejándose en la mejora de los rendimientos a través de los años. Luego se menciona de la aplicación de fertilizantes solubles utilizados a través del sistema de riego entre ellos se destaca, uno nuevo que es el Mikrothor con una tecnología diferente a los fertilizantes solubles convencionales, además de la importancia de aplicar los fertilizantes a través de un plan de curvas de absorción. Asimismo, nos enfocamos en la sanidad y su vital importancia de esta herramienta haciendo uso de los códigos FRAC e IRAC con la finalidad de evitar la resistencia de los pesticidas y hacer buen uso de esta herramienta, luego culminamos con la cosecha y su respectiva venta en el Gran Mercado Mayorista de Lima y finalmente se detalla los costos que implica producir una hectárea de este cultivo y los costos respectivos en el proceso de producción.The Mala Valley is an important supplier of many fruits and vegetables, among which is the cultivation of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), being a supplier of this fruit to the capital in the months of December to June. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to show all the basic information for the production of this crop.
