Departamento Académico de BiologíaEl estudio etnobotánico se llevó a cabo en la comunidad de Quero, ubicada en el distrito de Molinos, Provincia de Jauja en la región Junín, dicha investigación busca rescatar y revalorar las prácticas ancestrales con respecto al uso de plantas medicinales, como también inventariar las muestras recolectadas y sistematizar la información, utilizando para ello investigación del tipo descriptivo. La metodología aplicada en la investigación se basó en la ejecución de entrevistas semi estructuradas, así como también de caminatas etnobotánicas con las naturistas, señoras conocedoras de las propiedades de las plantas medicinales. Como resultado, se encontraron un total de 63 especies agrupadas en 27 familias y 47 géneros. Las familias más utilizadas fueron: Asteraceae, Geraniaceae, Urticaceae. Asimismo, las especies fueron agrupadas en 12 categorías de dolencias y 37 sub-categorías, siendo las dolencias por traumatismo, afecciones respiratorias, dolencias no definidas (susto, colerina, etc.) y digestivos las más recurrentes. Las plantas son utilizadas por lo general en su totalidad, las hojas y flores suelen ser las partes más usadas. Se concluye que la comunidad de Quero aún conserva el conocimiento ancestral del uso de plantas medicinales y acude a ellas para aliviar sus males.The ethnobotanical study was in the community of Quero, located in the Molinos district, Province of Jauja, in the Junín region, this research seeks to rescue and revalue the ancestral practices regarding the use of medicinal plants, as well as to include an inventory of samples collected, and systematize information, using for it descriptive research. The methodology used in the research was based on the performance of semi-structured interviews, as well as ethnobotanical walks with naturalists, knowledgeable ladies, about properties of medicinal plants. As result, a total of 63 species grouped into 27 families and 47 genera, were found. The most used families were Asteraceae, Geraniaceae and Urticaceae. Also, the species were classified into 12 “ailments categories” and 37 sub-categories, being ailments “traumatic ailments”, “respiratory ailments”, “undefined ailments” and “digestive disorders” categories the most recurring. Plants are usually used whole however, leaves and flowers are usually the most used parts.
