Departamento Académico de Acuicultura e Industrias PesquerasEl presente estudio presenta la evaluación de la influencia de tres densidades (T1: 6 peces/5 m3 , T2: 8 peces/5 m3 y T3: 10 peces/5 m3 ) sobre el crecimiento y sobrevivencia de los alevines de paiche cultivados en estanques de concreto con un volumen de 5m3. El experimento evaluado tuvo una duración de 42 días, se utilizaron 72 peces con peso y longitud promedio de T1: 9.7g y 11cm, T2: 8.9g y 11.1, T3: 9.2g y 10.8cm respectivamente. Los alevines de paiche fueron distribuidos en 9 estanques de concreto, el peso y longitud se monitoreó cada 15 días. También se evaluaron los parámetros fisicoquímicos del agua y el ambiente; se utilizó el programa estadístico R. Project para el análisis ANOVA (P<0.05). El peso y longitud final promedio fueron T1: 47.9g y 21.1cm, T2: 49.3g y 21.2cm, T3: 55.8g y 10.8cm respectivamente. El grupo que obtuvo mejor crecimiento en longitud fue el del tratamiento T3, el peso no tuvo diferencia significativa; sin embargo, numéricamente los peces del tratamiento T3 obtuvieron mayor crecimiento. Los parámetros de crecimiento no se evaluaron estadísticamente, la TCE fue 4.0, el FCA de 2.4 y el K: 0.65. Los valores fisicoquímicos del agua y del ambiente fueron constantes durante toda la fase experimental lo cual no influyeron en el desarrollo de los peces, la concentración del nitrato fue 1.9 mg/l y no se detectaron valores de nitrito y amonio, el pH fue 7.6, la concentración de oxígeno disuelto: 5.1 mg/l, la temperatura del agua promedio 26.9 °C y del ambiente 28 °C; y la pluviosidad fue variable con un valor promedio de 50 l/m2. La mayor densidad de 10 peces/5m3 no afecto el crecimiento de los peces.This study presents the evaluation of the influence of three densities (T1: 6 fish / 5 m3, T2: 8 fish / 5 m3 and T3: 10 fish / 5 m3) on the growth and survival of paiche fingerlings grown in ponds of concrete with a volume of 5m3. The experiment had a duration of 42 days, it used 72 fish with average weight and length of T1: 9.7g and 11cm, T2: 8.9g and 11.1, T3: 9.2g and 10.8cm respectively. Paiche fingerlings were distributed in 9 concrete ponds, weight and length were monitored every 15 days. The physicochemical parameters of water and environment were also evaluated; The statistical program R. Project was used for the ANOVA analysis (P<0.05). Average final weight and length were T1: 47.9g and 21.1cm, T2: 49.3g and 21.2cm, T3: 55.8g and 10.8cm respectively.
