Los truchicultores de estos distritos son reconocidos por sólo atender el mercado local, tener una productividad y rentabilidad aceptables por campaña. El objetivo principal es proponer un modelo de asociatividad que permita a los truchicultores de los distritos de San Mateo y Chicla mejorar su competitividad. Esta investigación de carácter descriptivo y propositivo proporcionará información para identificar el método asociativo que más se ajuste a sus necesidades. Se parte de identificar las piscigranjas cuya producción sea estable y reúnan las características que les permita crecer dentro de una asociación, así como el perfil de los truchicultores para finalmente proponer las acciones necesarias que permitan conseguir el objetivo planteado. Gracias a la presente investigación se pone en evidencia que el modelo del Programa de Apoyo a la Micro y Pequeña Empresa – APOMIPE es el idóneo para el sector estudiado debido a las características que presentan, tales como: pertenecientes al sector rural, nivel de instrucción, producción limitada, atender sólo mercado local, ser propietarios de las pozas de crianza de trucha, entre otros. Esta alternativa asociativa ha demostrado su viabilidad social y económica, dada la realidad rural de la provincia.The present work constitutes a contribution to the knowledge of the reality that the rural communities of the fishing sector face, taken as reference the producers of San Mateo and Chicla in the province of Huarochirí. The truchicultores of these districts are recognized for only serving the local market, having an acceptable productivity and profitability per campaign. The main objective is to propose a model of associativity that allows the truchicultores of the districts of San Mateo and Chicla to improve their competitiveness. This descriptive and proactive research will provide information to identify the associative method that best suits your needs. The starting point is to identify the fish farms whose production is stable and meet the characteristics that allow them to grow within an association, as well as the profile of the truchicultores to finally propose the necessary actions to achieve the stated objective. Thanks to the present investigation it is evident that the model of the Support Program for Micro and Small Enterprises - APOMIPE is the ideal one for the sector studied due to the characteristics that they present, such as: belonging to the rural sector, level of education, limited production, attend only local market, be owners of the trout breeding pools, among others.
