Departamento Académico de BiologíaEl presente trabajo muestra una de las principales situaciones negativas por la que atraviesa la región amazónica desde hace décadas, la degradación y/ o afectación de grandes extensiones de terreno en toda esta región. Las principales actividades económicas en esta región, como la maderera, petrolera, ganadera; han ido dejando parches cada vez más grandes de suelos descubiertos, con mucha presión antropogénica sin opción a su recuperación natural. La importancia de poner en práctica diferentes planes de recuperación de estas zonas afectadas, ha llevado que tanto autoridades del estado, inversión privada y elementos de la sociedad, como comunidades o caseríos, a organizarse e implementar métodos para realizar trabajos de regeneración natural o reforestación y así parar, minimizar o desacelerar el ritmo de deforestación en el cual se está perdiendo hectáreas de bosques. Estas prácticas para recuperar estas áreas han iniciado hace varios años atrás, se han realizado estudios en diferentes especies de árboles de la Amazonía, con el fin de conocer la respuesta a su manipulación y posterior uso donde se pueda obtener mejores resultados. El principal reto que se debe afrontar en la actualidad, para frenar el proceso de deforestación es lograr involucrar a más actores, que se sumen con esta actividad, generar responsabilidad ambiental en ellos y presentarles diferentes posibilidades de mejoras o beneficios que se pueden obtener con esta actividad responsable desde cada una de sus actividades dentro de la AmazoníaThe present work shows one of the main negative situations that the Amazon region has been experiencing for decades, the degradation and / or impact of large tracts of land throughout this region. The main economic activities in this region, such as timber, oil, livestock; they have been leaving increasingly larger patches of uncovered soils, with a lot of anthropogenic pressure with no option for their natural recovery. The importance of implementing different recovery plans in these affected areas, has led both state authorities, private investment and elements of society, such as communities or hamlets, to organize and implement methods to perform natural regeneration or reforestation work and thus stopping, minimizing or slowing the rate of deforestation in which hectares of forests are being lost. These practices to recover these areas have started several years ago, studies have been conducted on different species of trees in the Amazon, in order to know the response to their handling and subsequent use where you can get better results.
