Maestría en Recursos HídricosLos déficits de sequía de los volúmenes de agua del río Chancay Lambayeque para el periodo 1970-2019, a menudo ocurren cada año con determinada severidad y riesgo de exposición de la demanda de agua de uso poblacional y agrícola. La incertidumbre de la frecuencia y el periodo de tiempo de la falta de agua excedan está presente. El objetivo de este estudio fue estimar la severidad y riesgo de sequía en el río Chancay Lambayeque, con demandas de agua de 927.65 MMC, 1036.78 MMC. 1091.35 MMC y 1255.05 MMC. Se identifico los déficits de sequía de 1,2, 3 y 4 años de duración basadas en rachas o corridas de las series observadas y sintéticas, previa selección de un modelo de serie de tiempo de media móviles MA (1) para el pronóstico de los volúmenes anuales a largo plazo. Finalmente, con la secuencia de años secos y húmedos como los déficits de sequía generados, se ajustaron a una distribución de probabilidad bivariado y se obtuvieron el periodo de retorno y el riesgo de las sequías. El riesgo que exceda los déficits de sequía de un año de duración son 483.6110 MMC (0.26% - 0.85%); 269.0863 MMC (0.98% - 2.3%); 206.2540 MMC (1.42% - 2.99%); 59.3485 MMC (3.37% - 5.00%); y 19.4640 MMC (4.19% - 5.45%). Los modelos probabilísticos de media móvil y de la distribución bivariado de sequía fueron válidos para estimar el déficit de sequía de un año y están sujetos a una adecuada identificación de las sequías asociadas con la periodicidad de la demanda de agua.The drought deficits of the water volumes of the Chancay Lambayeque River for the period 1970-2019, often occur each year with a certain severity and risk of exposure to the demand for water for population and agricultural use.
