El instrumento utilizado fue el Cuestionario del desempeño docente (Minedu, 2012), que consta de 4 dimensiones: Preparación para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, Enseñanza para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, Participación en la gestión de la escuela articulada a la comunidad y desarrollo de la profesionalidad y la identidad docente. La validez del instrumento en la población de estudio se realizó a través del análisis de ítems mediante la correlación ítem-test de Pearson corregida con correlaciones de 0,371 a 0,635 y la confiabilidad se obtuvo a través del Alfa de Cronbach cuyo resultado fue de 0.941. Los resultados encontrados muestran que no existen diferencias significativas entre los niveles desempeño docente de las instituciones educativas públicas de Barranco y Chorrillos. Por lo tanto, se rechaza la hipótesis del investigador aceptado la hipótesis nula

The study sample consisted of 80 teachers; the type of sampling was not probabilistic. The design was descriptive-comparative. The instrument used was the Teacher Performance Questionnaire (Minedu, 2012), which consists of four dimensions: Preparation for student learning, Teaching for student learning, Participation in the management of the school, articulated to the community and development of professionalism and teaching identity. The validity of the instrument in the study population was carried out through the item analysis through correlation Pearson item-test corrected with correlations of 0.371 to 0.635 and reliability was obtained through the Cronbach's Alpha whose result was 0.941. The results show that there are no significant differences between the educational performance levels of the public educational institutions of Barranco and Chorrillos.
